New Pathways to Post-Secondary Success
Career planning is nothing new to educators, especially here in Massachusetts. The ongoing efforts of our Commonwealth's education departments, in partnership with organizations like the Massachusetts School Counselors Association (MASCA) and the Massachusetts Association of Vocational Administrators (MAVA), continue to set, manage, and improve the standards for the high-quality resources that Massachusetts students require in order to truly attain "college and career ready" status.
In recent years, a growing body of projects and leadership initiatives, like the Readiness Project, Vision Project, College Access Challenge Grant, Race to the Top, and Governor Patrick's STEM Council, have helped influence Massachusetts' strategy — all advocating for additional and earlier college and career planning programs to help students both build multiple pathways to post-secondary success and be college and career ready.
Because YourPlanForTheFuture offers post-secondary planning tools that both ease and support a school's engagement of students in the post-secondary planning processes! Whether a student's pathway will require a four-year college degree, a two-year degree or other professional credential, or even if he or she intends to enter the workforce post-high school graduation, YourPlanForTheFuture is or can be a comprehensive, online toolkit.
